The Ubiquiti UMR-INDUSTRIAL is an ultra-ruggedized, carrier-unlocked LTE Category 4 mobile wireless router purpose-built to deliver rock-solid mission-critical data routing across hostile and exposed industrial environments. Engineered as a heavy-duty communications bridge for remote Internet of Things (IoT) applications, building sites, utility complexes, and automated offshore machinery, this high-performance cellular node maintains stable high-speed network connections where consumer-tier hardware would fail.
Operating independently or scaled across massive industrial installations via the UniFi Mobility Cloud system, the device bridges secure 4G data pipelines into remote network arrays.
IP66 Weather Shell & Severe Thermal Hardening
The UMR-INDUSTRIAL features a specialized structural defense envelope built to survive severe environments:

IP66 Complete Ingress Sealing: Shipped with a heavy-duty protective outer shield. When this weather cover is locked in place, the chassis achieves an IP66 industrial rating, completely blocking driving rainfall, high-pressure washing jets, and dense particulate dust ingress.

Hardened -40°C to 70°C Window: Built around an aluminum and polycarbonate core engineered for continuous passive cooling without internal moving parts. The internal architecture handles deep seasonal freezing down to -40°C and intense unconditioned equipment cabinet heat hitting 70°C.

High-Velocity Wind Resilience: The structural chassis and mounting joints are aerodynamically balanced to absorb raw mechanical forces up to 38.8 Newtons at storm wind speeds of 200 km/h.

Full-Speed Dual Gigabit Ports: Equipped with two independent 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports configured for seamless WAN data prioritization and LAN network distribution.

10W Passive/Active PoE Output: Port 2 features a configurable software-controlled Power over Ethernet output loop capable of delivering up to 10 Watts of downstream power. This allows engineers to directly power a fixed external device—like a UniFi Protect IP camera, a physical access reader, or a secondary local network switch—without drawing separate power lines.
Detailed RF Antenna & Connector Map
The upper terminal rim houses five distinct physical screw-threaded RF antenna tap locations. This design allows engineers to easily detach the factory blade antennas and route heavy-duty coax extensions out to external high-gain building antennas:

Power over Ethernet: Run directly from an upstream 48V–54V DC PoE+ switch line down the main interface port (required to pass power down to the secondary PoE port).

USB Type-C Terminal: Powered via a standard 5V DC, 3A connection using the industrial adapter block fully included in the box.

4-Pin ATX DC Terminal Box: Hardwired into industrial battery arrays or vehicle power blocks supporting wide 9V to 30V DC inputs.
