Ubiquiti UniFi Access Electric Lock (UA-LOCK-ELECTRIC)
The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Electric Lock is a commercial-grade, heavy-duty electronic strike lock designed for integration with centralized access control systems. Purpose-built to mount directly into physical door frames, this hardware replaces standard mechanical strike plates. It allows electronic door control using keycards, fobs, or mobile apps via a central terminal.
Engineered with high mechanical endurance, the lock is rated to withstand up to 1 million open-close cycles under demanding, high-traffic commercial environments.
Fail-Secure Operation for Strict Security
The UA-LOCK-ELECTRIC is designed with a fail-secure configuration. This means that if physical building power is cut or the circuit fails, the physical latch mechanisms remain mechanically locked.

Primary Benefit: This layout ensures that high-security internal areas, server storage rooms, and perimeter boundaries remain firmly locked and defended against external unauthorized entry during localized power cuts.

Safety Alignment: For building exit code compliance, standard mechanical exit handles or push-bars inside the room still override the lock manually, ensuring staff can safely exit the building at all times.
Structural Strength & Frame Compatibility

1,200 kg Holding Force: Built to resist heavy physical force, the internal zinc-alloy housing and stainless-steel latches hold up against up to 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs) of structural pressure. This prevents door forcing or tampering.

Multi-Material Mounting: Out of the box, the structural body is designed to recess neatly into aluminum, reinforced steel, or solid timber door frames.

Dual Faceplates Included: Packaged with both a short front plate (124 mm) and a long front plate (202 mm). This removes the need for custom hardware cutting, allowing installers to choose the plate size that matches the frame cutout.
Electrical & UniFi Access Hub Integration
The lock connects directly to the powered relay terminals on a UniFi Access Hub (UA-Hub) using standard low-voltage multi-strand wire connections. It runs cleanly off the hub's internal power delivery infrastructure:
