The Heckler Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) Upgrade Kit (MPN: T272) provides an official, hardware-based solution that combines continuous power delivery and ultra-stable network data into a single point of connection.
Developed specifically for integration with the Heckler Zoom Rooms Console, this internal upgrade hardware features an official Redpark Apple-certified adapter. By routing a single standard Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7 Ethernet cable from your network switch directly into the console, you can bypass the unpredictable signal drops of wireless office networks completely. It wires your iPad controller straight into the exact same local Gigabit network as your primary video conferencing codec, eliminating setup latency and dropouts during critical presentations.
Aside from maintaining a rock-solid data rate of up to 1 Gbps, the T272 kit extracts electrical power directly from your active Ethernet line. This keeps your corporate iPad constantly charged throughout back-to-back schedules and removes the need to run separate, messy power cords across or underneath your main conference room table. The compact components tuck away hidden inside the base frame of the console for a clean, completely cable-free public appearance.
