Mounting meeting room booking screens directly to the front face of door frames or office walls often results in messy, exposed wires and flimsy plastic brackets that can be easily damaged. The Heckler Front Mount for iPad mini 6 (MPN: H661-BG) fixes this issue. This commercial-grade steel enclosure attaches flat against the front face of aluminium door mullions (vertical window frames) or plasterboard walls, creating a low-profile, highly secure kiosk for conference room scheduling, building automation, and digital signage.
The H661-BG is manufactured from laser-cut alloy steel and finished in a scratch-resistant black grey powder coat. It is engineered specifically to protect the 8.3-inch iPad mini (6th Generation) from tampering and theft in busy corporate spaces. The enclosure fastens together with specialised security screws, ensuring the tablet cannot be removed by unauthorised personnel. To support continuous 24/7 operation, the chassis features an open-back design that allows heat to rise and escape naturally, keeping the tablet cool and preventing battery swelling caused by heat buildup.
Cable management is fully integrated into the back of the steel frame. The rear compartment is deep enough to store compact power adapters, right-angle cables, and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) splitters completely out of sight. This allows a single network cable to supply both power and data to the tablet through a small hole in the wall or door frame, keeping the entire installation flat, professional, and tidy.
