The Heckler ADA Panel 68x20 (MPN: H809-BG) provides an elegant, architectural solution to help businesses maintain compliance with strict building safety codes, such as the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (Section 307). Positioned neatly beneath large-format wall displays, this barrier creates a reliable cane-detection zone for visually impaired staff and visitors.
The panel is engineered specifically for corporate meeting rooms, training suites, and public corridors featuring prominent digital displays up to 86 inches. Accessibility rules dictate that wall-mounted equipment hanging more than 27 inches above the finished floor must not protrude more than 4 inches into standard circulation paths. By installing this 3-inch-deep acoustic panels style barrier beneath the screen, any equipment hanging above it effectively complies with the rules, as the panel safely alerts cane users to the structural obstruction ahead.
