The interface topology of the UISP-R-PRO provides the massive backbone bandwidth required to eliminate downstream data choking:

• Quad 10G SFP+ Fiber Transceivers: Features four independent 1/10 Gbps SFP+ ports. Out of the box, these ports deliver ultra-high-speed fiber trunk lines to connect upstream tier-1 carrier feeds, local network storage arrays, or primary high-capacity core switches.

• Integrated Layer 2 Switching Core: Equipped with nine Gigabit RJ45 ports (1x dedicated WAN port, 8x LAN ports). Unlike traditional software-bridged interfaces that tax the CPU, ports 1–8 and 10–13 can be configured for true hardware-accelerated line-rate Layer 2 switching to optimize local data distribution.

• Advanced WISP Traffic Management: Seamlessly executes intensive provider network services at the hardware layer—including OSPF routing, firewall traffic filtering, advanced Quality of Service (QoS) tier balancing, and automated customer billing suspension controls managed directly through the centralized UISP application.

Connecting an external industrial battery bank or power system ensures automated, hitless power failover to keep the network online during mains blackouts.

• 1.3" LCM Color Touchscreen Display: The front panel houses an integrated liquid crystal diagnostic screen. Network technicians can view system health, verify current routing throughputs, check active IP configurations, and toggle local diagnostics in seconds without plugging in a laptop.

• Rapid Bluetooth Mobile Provisioning: Features built-in low-energy Bluetooth (BLE) radios. This allows field deployment teams to securely discover, configure, and adopt the router using the UISP mobile app on-site within minutes.

System Management Deployment Note: The UISP-R-PRO runs exclusively on the Ubiquiti UISP (Universal Internet Service Provider) platform (Version 1.4.5 or later). It cannot be adopted or controlled via the standard corporate UniFi Network Application. This design ensures independent network management entirely focused on provider-level topology optimization, billing integration, and customer radio tracking.
