Yes. The PAX A920 Pro is supplied as an unprogrammed hardware unit. To process live credit and debit card transactions, it must be set up with software from your chosen UK merchant service provider or acquiring bank.
Can I use my own SIM card for mobile data?
Yes, this device features a standard Micro SIM slot. You can install an appropriate data-only SIM card from UK mobile networks to operate over 4G cellular connections when Wi-Fi is unavailable.
Does it support tipping and digital receipts?
Tipping configurations, digital receipts via SMS or email, and end-of-day banking reports are entirely managed by the specific POS payment application installed on the device by your merchant provider.
