The Heckler Zoom Rooms Console (MPN: H656-BG) provides a secure tabletop base designed specifically for the 8.3-inch iPad mini (6th Generation). It holds the screen at a fixed angle on the table, creating a neat, permanent interface for starting calls and managing meeting rooms.
The H656-BG is built from thick, laser-cut alloy steel with a scratch-resistant black grey powder coat finish. The enclosure holds the iPad mini screen at a 30-degree slope, which offers a comfortable typing angle for choosing contacts or typing meeting codes while keeping the device low enough to stay out of the room camera's line of sight. The base of the housing is fitted with smooth felt pads, allowing users to slide the console across polished timber meeting tables without marking the wood.
This specific bundle includes a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) adapter that sits entirely within a hidden internal compartment. This allows a single standard network cable to route out through the bottom of the casing, delivering both hardwired network data and continuous mains power to the tablet to bypass weak Wi-Fi connections completely. The frame also features acoustic ports that allow ultrasonic proximity pairing to function, so staff can share their laptop screens wirelessly and instantly without manual device pairing. Fitted with tamper-resistant screws and a built-in Kensington Security Slot, the console keeps the hardware safely locked down on boardroom tables.
