Setting up a tablet to control a shared video conference system often presents practical difficulties with loose charging leads and unstable wireless connections. The Heckler Meeting Room Console (MPN: H760-BG) provides a stable tabletop base for the 10.9-inch iPad (10th Generation). It holds the screen at a fixed angle on the boardroom table, creating a neat interface for managing Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, or Google Meet setups.
The H760-BG is built from thick alloy steel with a matte black grey powder coat finish that resists scratches. The enclosure positions the iPad at a 30-degree slope, which provides a comfortable typing angle for users while keeping the console low enough to stay out of the meeting room camera's line of sight. The base of the steel housing is fitted with smooth felt pads, allowing the unit to slide across polished timber meeting tables without marking the wood.
The internal compartment is designed with sufficient space to house a compact Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) splitter or power adapter out of sight. This allows a single network cable to route through the bottom of the casing, delivering both hardwired data and continuous mains power to the tablet to avoid Wi-Fi dropouts. The frame also includes acoustic ports that allow ultrasonic proximity pairing to function, so staff can connect their laptops to the meeting room display without manual pairing. Fitted with tamper-resistant screws and a Kensington Security Slot, the console keeps the hardware safely locked down in public office environments.
