Powered by a rapid 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, the UXG-PRO achieves an impressive Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) throughput rate of up to 3.5 Gbps. Outfitted with dual WAN and dual LAN interfaces—each featuring a high-speed 10G SFP+ port alongside a standard Gigabit RJ45 port—this gateway facilitates unthrottled fiber backhauls and reliable internet failover. Unlike the Dream Machine series, the UXG-PRO operates strictly as a dedicated router, allowing it to be seamlessly adopted and managed by an external UniFi Cloud Key or a server-hosted UniFi Network Controller.

Please Note: This security gateway does not run the UniFi OS controller software natively on the hardware. It must be paired with an external management solution, such as a Cloud Key Gen2 Plus or a standalone network controller instance.
