Product Overview The Ubiquiti UACC-OM-SM-1G-S-2 is a pre-paired set of bidirectional single-mode fibre transceivers designed to extend local network segments over long distances. Unlike standard transceivers that require two separate fibre strands to transmit and receive data, these modules use wavelength-division multiplexing to send and receive traffic simultaneously down one single strand of glass. This single-core setup allows you to maximise existing cable capacity while establishing a stable 1 Gbps hardwired connection between network switches, security routers, or remote server cabinets at distances up to 3 kilometres.
