Dual Gigabit Ethernet Bridging & Connectivity

The rear connection bay of each AC Pro access point features a dual-port layout designed to streamline cabling architectures during mid-to-large scale commercial physical installations:

• Main PoE Input Port: Serves as the primary data highway and electrical terminal, receiving incoming network infrastructure lines directly from your centralized switch frames.

• Secondary Bridge Port: Functions as a convenient passthrough Ethernet bridge port. This allows field engineers to daisy-chain a secondary local hardware node—such as a fixed IP security camera, a VoIP telephone desk set, or an adjacent access point—without pulling an entirely separate copper run back to the server room patch panel.

Wireless Performance & MIMO Stream Distribution

Each access point uses a 3x3 multi-user MIMO spatial stream distribution across high-gain internal antennas. This triple-stream approach enables the wireless matrix to process concurrent upload and download requests across 200+ active user sessions per hardware node:

Critical Installer Power Note: Because the UAP-AC-PRO-5 is an enterprise multi-pack intended for direct integration into existing managed network infrastructures, PoE power injectors are not included in this box. Each access point requires standard 48V active Power over Ethernet via the 802.3af PoE or 802.3at PoE+ standards. Ensure your central network switch or patch bay features a sufficient active PoE power budget to run five concurrent 9W nodes.
