Quick Selection Guide by Tablet Model:

1. If you have the newest "Standard" iPad (iPad 10th or 11th Gen)

  • Best for POS: WindFall Stand for iPad 10th Gen.

  • Best for Walls: Wall Mount MX or OnWall Mount.

  • Best for Meetings: Heckler Meeting Room Console.

2. If you have the "Classic" iPad with a Home Button (iPad 7th, 8th, or 9th Gen)

  • Best for POS: Heckler Stand Prime (10.2-inch).

  • Best for Mounting: Side Mount or Front Mount (specifically designed for these 10.2-inch models).

3. If you have the iPad Mini (6th or 7th Gen)

  • Best for Schedulers: Room Scheduler Mount (Slim profile for outside meeting rooms).

  • Best for Controllers: Zoom Rooms Console for iPad mini.

4. If you have the iPad Pro 12.9" or iPad Air 13"

  • Compatibility Note: Because these two tablets share almost identical dimensions, the Heckler Stand for iPad Pro 12.9 is now compatible with the new iPad Air 13-inch.

5. If you have a Non-Apple Tablet (Samsung, Surface, etc.)

  • Solution: Use the @Rest Universal Tablet Stand. It does not "frame" the tablet but provides a heavy, steel weighted base that supports almost any device in portrait or landscape.

Important Buying Tips:

  • Check the Port: Newer iPads (10th Gen, Air, Pro, Mini 6/7) use USB-C. Older iPads (9th Gen and earlier) use Lightning. Make sure your power cables match the mount's cable management path.

  • Security: Most Heckler mounts (except @Rest) include tamper-resistant screws. If you are in a high-traffic retail environment, ensure you use the included assembly tool to lock the tablet in.

  • Pivot Options: If you need the stand to rotate to face the customer, you will need to add the PivotTable or PivotTack accessory to your order, as the stands have non-slip feet by default.
